Fliview is a very simple to use program and is intended
supplement the very fine program AutoDesk Animator.
FliView requires another excellent program, QUICKFLI.EXE by
Dancing Flame, San Francisco. That program will play any FLI
file created by AutoDesk Animator.
I have included the following files in this archive:
FLIVIEW.EXE The FLI menu
FLIVIEW.DOC This DOCumentation File
QUICKFLI.EXE The Dancing Flame Animator
FMS.FLI A Simple FLIck
To run the program, simply copy all these files in your
subdirectory containing your *.FLI files. Run the program
by typing FLIVIEW at the DOS prompt.
The program will read all the filenames for your FLIcks and
sort them alphabetically. The program then displays them on
your screen. Using the cursor keys, move the cursor to the
FLIck you want played and press ENTER. The FLIck will then
play automatically. Press ESCape and the menu returns.
To exit the menu, press ESCape again.
The program is very simple to use, and gives you a quick and
easy method of viewing the FLIcks. Be sure that the
FLIVIEW.EXE , QUICKFLI.EXE and all your *.FLI files are in
the same sub-directory.
Thanks to Dancing Flame for QUICKFLI.EXE. That excellent
program gave me the idea for this one. Enjoy!
